Forum Changes

Howdy folks,

I've changed the forums to another piece of software (phpBB3). Mostly this is in an effort to reduce the amount of spammer sign-ups so I can open registration again (I've had to manually go through hundreds of new accounts every few weeks, to approve the 1 or 2 genuine people and say no to the spam bots). It means I can keep the software up to date with security patches and what not.

So, the place will look slightly different. Avatars are missing, signatures are messed up: these are things you can fix yourself though by adding a new avatar and editing the signature in your control panel page. Sadly, and the biggest hit, is that the gallery is gone. Not a huge change since the old script was horribly, irreversibly broken. All of the images and descriptions are still on the sever, just there's no way to automagically port over the gallery system to phpBB. This forum is open source software so if things break, I can look inside and fix it.

Also, AFRO SMILEY! O0

Keep training, stay safe.

Oh and if you can't log in for any particular reason (perhaps a password got smushed somewhere) email me or use the forgotten password dealy.
