Edinburgh Rat Race 2006

It's on the 14/15th this year, so it's not too far away. There's not much hype on here just because ED-PK isn't involved directly, unlike previous times. I don't even know for definite if there's a "parkour" section this year -- last I heard the EHX guy(s) from that Ocean Terminal event were taking charge.

I don't really do parkour... or do I?

Edinburgh Rat Race 2006

Postby Swifty » Tue Jul 17, 2007 10:41 pm

Well i can't start a new topic so ill just do it here.
Mini write up of Rat Race 2007.
Like Marley says, Ed-pk weren't directly involved. Instead we DID do parkour, but under the EHX name. The days consisted of lots of faffing about inbetween a couple of proper shows aday.
I use the term proper loosely :S The shows were rather spontanious (despite having a schedule) so we werent really warmed up all that much, we also had to freestyle it all as lack of time (and a huge lack of equipment) forced us to be fast. We gave it a bit of the gab when asked as well.
I'm Not really sure what happened as to coaching, best to ask Cutler about that, as far as i know though it didnt really happen :S
it was a good weekend, although definately not the best ratrace. A little more equipment would have been nice.
Hell, at least the weather was bloody amazing!!!!
I PK when i want to...Not to please others.
