Bristo Square
This spot is our meeting place for all of our Saturday jams, and most of the other impromptu jams that happen during the week. It’s a really cool place to get moving and very easy to get to for everyone.
Conditions
Slippery when wet, as with everywhere in Edinburgh pretty much, but the walls and trees generally have great grip.

Plod
The place is generally filled with skaters so the security guards have just about given up on trying to chuck us all out. We were thrown off once by an angry security guard but it hasn’t happened again since.

Supplies
There are various shops nearby and the forest café, an amazing volunteer-run place, where you may sometimes find traceurs resting after a hard day’s work.

Watch your Back
Skaters skate here all the time, but they’re usually in bed until the afternoon. There are also often drunks with dogs who hang about at Bristo. Also beware of random passers-by and make sure you check where you’re jumping because you quite often see people sitting behind a wall on the steps.

PK Heaven
Brilliant! We find new things to do every time we come. There are trees all round which are brilliant for climbing and for laches, there are also many varying sizes of walls for all abilities.

Overall
A great place to start a Jam because everyone knows where it is and also because from there you can go pretty much any direction and find another hotspot.
